Programs:
Primary Prep offers multi-level Pre-School classes in which students are placed by academic, emotional, and social readiness. We are approved by the state of Florida to offer Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) to students who qualify.
We are a state of Florida SCHOOL READINESS Provider.
The School Readiness program offers qualified parents financial assistance for child care through a variety of services. Childcare services include extended-day, extended-year, and school age care to support parents in becoming financially self-sufficient.
The School Readiness program takes into account the level of physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of a child, involves parents as their child's first teacher, prepares children to become ready for school, and provides parents with information on child development and other topics of interest. Each school readiness program provides a developmental screening for children and referrals to specific health and educational specialists. These services work in cooperation with other programs for young children such as Head Start, Early Head Start, and the Voluntary Pre-kindergarten (VPK) program.
All families that apply for the School Readiness program can receive information on choosing a child care provider and child care provider listings through Child Care Resource and Referral services.
To learn about eligibility criteria for the School Readiness program and/or to access Child Care Resource and Referral services, please contact your county’s Early Learning Coalition. The Agency for Workforce Innovation's Office of Early Learning Child Care Resource Referral Network can also provide assistance and can be contacted at 1-866-357-3239 (TTY: 711)
State of Florida’s EARLY LEARNING SERVICES
The Office of Early Learning is dedicated to ensuring the accessibility, affordability and quality of early learning services for Florida's children and families.
Florida welcomes nearly 600 newborns every day and is home to more than one million children younger than five. Of these, approximately 600,000 attend some type of early learning program. With so many of our children in care, quality early learning options are a high priority because children are counting on us to make sure they have every advantage and opportunity available for success in school and in life.

TUMMY YUMMIES
BREAKFAST
All students need to have a healthy breakfast before coming to school. An ideal, nutritious breakfast contains a balance of complex carbohydrates and protein.
SNACK
A healthy morning snack of fruit and grain is offered each day at 7:50am. Healthy afternoon snacks are also provided after nap time at 3:00pm.
DRINKS
Water is available to students at all times. In addition to lunch and snack, water breaks are scheduled. If packing your child’s lunch, it is not necessary to send a drink.
BOXED LUNCH
Students are required to bring their own lunch except on Pizza Fridays. We encourage you to provide nutritional lunches. Sandwiches on whole grain bread, yogurt, cheese, fresh fruits, and fresh vegetables are great foods that help to keep children’s immune systems healthy. We do not warm foods.
For student safety and program efficiency, please follow these guidelines:
We do not allow the following foods at school due to the high risk of choking: Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Hard Candy, Lollipops, Marshmallow Products, and Rice Crispy Teats. Grapes must be cut or diced to be served.
Lunches must be brought in a standard lunch box and be of practical size. Refrigeration is not provided nor are we able to heat lunches. All foods should be ready to eat and fruits and vegetables cut and cored.
PIZZA FRIDAYS
You can purchase lunch on Friday for $3.00. We serve cheese pizza, a vegetable, and a fresh fruit. Children receive extra helpings. In the event the school is closed Friday, we will offer pizza on Thursday.
